Tell us about yourself!
I have a huge array of passions which often gets me overwhelmed! I had a career in music before making my way to photography, and I'm always taking on new projects in a wide variety of fields. Beyond my creative pursuits, I am passionate about social justice, which has led me to various organizations. I am currently in the process of becoming a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for Foster Children) and working with the homeless population in Los Angeles. I am an animal lover, and my world revolves around my puppy girl, Penny Lane.
How did you get into the Fashion/Beauty Industry and what do you love about it?
I have been connected to the beauty industry through friends for years and was always taking pictures. But, the transition to my current career happened, when I was living in Japan and couldn't help but want to capture everything I experienced. Specializing in beauty came through a collaborative process with a celebrity make up artist friend who suggested I give it a try. I fell in love with the details of beauty photography.
What is your advice for someone getting into the Fashion/ Beauty Industry?
Ask! I passed on many opportunities to get involved in the industry because I was too shy to ask. Once I started opening my mouth, the doors opened as well.
